In my search for famous celebrities that might enjoy the company of cats over dogs or at least at the very same enjoyment level I came across one website that had no less than 67 pictures of celebrities and their cats… No not counting the one of Siegfried and Roy. I’m not sure how friendly he is with his cats anymore. So who were some of the celebrities on the list? Read on: my beloved Martha (Martha Stewart) can be seen dangling a homemade (of course) toy over her basket of kittens; Michelle Pfeiffer (gee how ironic since she had to practically become one… Cat woman… Hello?); Susan Boyle of Britain’s Got Talent infamy loves her black and white longhaired cat; Vanna White when she’s not flipping letters enjoys spending time with her 2 Calico’s; lost but not forgotten Queen’s vocalist Freddie Mercury loved his little flat faced feline; and Nicole Richie owns a cat almost as slinky and thin as she is.

George Clooney poses for one picture with a teddy bear under one arm and a little kitten in the other hand; I’m not sure which was more adorable. Kelsey Grammer formerly of Cheers and Frasier can be seen displaying his plaid shirt and calico kittens; country queen Carrie Pickler calls her tabby Pickles (go figure); John Travolta can be seen carrying a black cat that’s almost as big as he is (maybe it’s a baby panther!); and Giorgio Armani had a cat that matched his hair color perfectly, of course.

And Nicolas Cage may be a tough guy on screen but he’s all hugs and kisses with his furry feline.
